This concert features Trio Copine - Barbara Mahler, flute; Elaine Barber, harp; and Martha Carapetyan, viola. These incredible Austin artists will be performing renaissance dances to contemporary tangos; a mosaic of sounds and colors for flute, harp, and viola.
Pianist Martha Mortensen Ahern provides music for The Susan G. Komen Foundation Survivor Celebration Dinner. This community outreach event occurs the evening before the annual Race for the Cure.

Repertoire will include everything from Classical, Musical Theater and Film. The two concerts in the schools are provided in part by a grant from Music Teachers National Association Foundation proposed by and awarded to Artistic Director, Martha M. Ahern.

Chaski (Shana Norton, harp; Adrienne Inglis, flute) celebrates their 30th season. This performance helps ACE fulfills its vision of collaborating with other Texas artists and arts organizations. We are pleased to support and present Chaski and help them celebrate 30 years of Austin arts performances.
“The Book of Goddesses” is a newly-composed work by award winning and Grammy nominated composer Robert Paterson (Austin Symphony Texas premier of his work “Dark Shadows”, May 2014). The event will include percussion by Dr. Matthew McClung and choreography by Sophia L.
Torres (Psophonia Dance Company) from Houston, TX. All are invited to stay for cake afterwards and a short 'meet and greet' with the composer and artists.
